Portal:Golgo Island CreaturesFrom WarEngineCreatures (or Unnamed non-player figures) Golgo Island is a dangerous place, and heroes are often confronted with unexpected perils – giant insects, fierce beasts of all kinds, drooling mutants, or savage tribes… Those figures aren’t part of a player’s force selection; they can be activated by any player under specific conditions (see Golgo Island Twists and Golgo Island Scenario Special Rules). As a rule of thumb, Creatures should have k1 DEF and one or two k1 attacks. k2/3 DEF or AV is better left exceptional – for major creatures, or evil counterparts to the Heroes.

[edit] ZorglsThose very uncommon creatures (they have actually only been reported on Golgo Island) were named after the man who discovered the species, Dr Edmund Zorgl. They are, of course, fascinating to scientists, especially from an evolutionary point of view, but they're also very difficult to study, as they will attack whatever isn't a Zorgl with their large claws and powerful jaws.
[edit] HenchmenBe they slaves to the Dark Empire, the Brotherhood of the Great Golgo, the Cult of the Totemic Banana, or simple hired guns, those anonymous minions are ready to die by the dozen. Henchmen are hired in groups of at least 3 figures, among which one may be a leader. They must pick a close combat attack and may pick up to one extra attack (ranged or not).
